Actually the personal
conclusion to mnemosyne mind shots is, that it is not possible to
represent personal memory by photographs. Photographs tend to give
an impression, an outcut of a scene, where splits of memories could
be catched and recalled. Photographs tend to be personal sets for
reminding to situations. As a documentary function, photographs
might not be accurate without text. Also photographs might give
wrong impressions of memories, when facing the past. In general
photographs represent sometimes memories viewed different in the
present as perceived in the past. To represent memories in actual
photographs from the present to bring back the past means a turn
back in time and space, time and space of memory as subjectively
perceived. These images will always remain personal subjective artefacts,
from the past or from the present.
